Flip Week

Are you ready for a flippin‘ good time? It’s flip week on the Tech Tools for Teachers Podcast… and we are flipping out! This week, we have two fantastic sites that just happen to both start with “flip,” and then we realized there was a third flip site we had discussed previously so we included it as a bonus.

FLIPPITY

The first site to flip over is Flippity! Flippity turns Google Sheets into flashcards, games, and activities for your classroom. They give you templates and easy directions to set everything up. This site is great for vocabulary and review, as well as formative assessments. Check it out!

FLIPSNACK

Back in Episode 003, we discussed our bonus Flip website called Flipsnack. It makes really fun online flip-books that are a great way for students to share their work. If you haven’t already tried it, you should!

FLIPGRID

Our final fierce site for the week is a phenomenal way to get students to share their learning. With Flipgrid, you are able set up a grid and pose questions or discussions. Then students create videos of themselves and share their ideas! It is so cool and I see so many educators coming up with new ways to use it. I can’t wait for people to share all of the ways they are using it!

Share your Flipgrid ideas here!

TECH MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE:

I hope you flip out (in a good way) over these sites and try them in your classroom! See you on the flip-side. 😂
