Weather or not you are a Science teacher, these weather sites are great resources for all students! 🌞 This week, we chat about two great weather sites that can be incorporated into any elementary or middle school classroom. They have great resources and are super interesting to dig into. So hopefully, you find something enlightening for your classroom!

Weather Wiz Kids

Weather Wiz Kids is a great collection of all things weather related! You can learn about all kinds of weather from hurricanes to sandstorms. Students can search questions that they have and find the answers for whole class discussion or individual research, this resource is very helpful! There is also different sections that explain natural disasters and weather experiments! The experiments would be great to in class labs or easy extended learning at home. So if you have some kids that want to be a wiz at weather – this site would be perfect for them!

SnowCrystals.com

For those of you experiencing lots of snow currently, or those that want to learn more about the beauty and science of snow, SnowCrystals.com is perfect! This site walks you though the ways they create designer snowflakes and compares them to natural snowflakes. There are lots of science and math connections along with all kinds of beautiful images and information. This site is great for class discussion or individual research. There is so much to learn about snow!
